Tom & Janet’s Big Day

Well, wedding season officially started for me yesterday, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day.  The forecast on Friday called for rain, so when I opened the curtains to a sunshiney day, I was so excited!  Tom and Janet planned a beautiful wedding at the Elkridge Furnace Inn.  Here is my beautiful bride basking in the sunshine…

The ceremony was outdoors under a beautiful blue sky.  Many of their nieces and nephews did readings, and Janet’s brother-in-law sang “I WIll Be Here” by Stephen Curtis Chapman (I love that song…tried to link to iTunes for you but couldn’t figure it out…).  It was a beautiful ceremony…

The grounds of the Inn are so pretty.  Even this early in the spring when not much is in bloom, there were lots of green spots, and the different buildings are great.

All of the details were beautiful.  Janet chose blue & brown as her color scheme (a girl after my own heart), and her boquets ad centerpieces were made of hydrangeas, and all the favors and place cards followed the color and love bird theme.  She made these birds herself (they were so great) and the stones with the inspirational words were favors:

Tom and Janet seemed to have a great time, as did thier guests, and again, what a beautiful day!

I am so blessed to have been a part of it!  Thanks for choosing me!
