Happy Mother’s Day!

Despite a cool, rainy forecast, my mother’s day was lovely.  We started the day by going out to breakfast and to church.  We came home and grabbed a quick lunch, and headed out to visit all of out mothers.  It was a busy day, but it was nice spending time with all of the ladies that mean so much to me (and my family).  And I didn’t have to cook or clean-up (which wasn’t fair because my mother did dishes…).  We had a yummy dinner, and my mom kept her lip-smacking cosmos coming…mmmm!  Dessert was homemade cheese cake, compliments of my dad (who worked his tale off to make all the great food), and it was the perfect end to a lovely day.

Here I am with my fantasic mother, and her fantastic mother:

I hope all of you moms out there had a great day!

Songer-Santos Family

Last Thursday, just as the rain was rolling in, I met these guys at a beach in Severna Park for their annual photo shoot.  It was overcast, which makes for nice, soft light, and the sun peeked in and out occaisonally.  But within 20 minutes, the rain started falling and cut our session short.  But we got some great stuff in the short time we were together.

Here is the whole gang:

The girls even got brave and waded in the water!  I love this one…

And what is more fun than frollicking in the sand in a beautiful dress?  Getting sandy feet in your beautiful dress!  Here are Bella’s tootsies:

And Ellie couldn’t get enough…she threw sand in her own lap to keep the fun going:

And here are the girlies together…the girls eyes are set on Daddy who was coming with some Sweet Tarts as their prize for doing such a great job:

Thank you guys for having me out…it was great seeing you again!  Happy Mother’s Day, Stephanie!  🙂
